Multi-Media Journalist/Meteorologist
Degree in meteorology/atmospheric science preferred, but we are open to working with anyone with a broadcasting/communications-related degree and a passion for communicating information ranging from interesting to potentially life-saving to a broad audience.
Experience with WSI/The Weather Company’s “Max” platform preferred. In this position, the said meteorologist will also be a multi-media journalist. You will shoot, write and edit stories under deadline, cover breaking news, do live shots on-air and online, develop stories and post stories to the web. You'll learn from a team of experienced news managers who love to help develop new talent.
Applicant should have a grasp of the news cycle, strong work ethic and time management skills.
