Zoning Officer

Pine Township in Mercer County is looking to hire an individual for the part-time position of Zoning Officer. The Zoning Officer's duties include the receipt of applications, the issuance of permits, notices, certificates and orders, the making of inspections to determine conformance with Township zoning ordinances. Candidates must have a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License, able to pass a drug screen, high school diploma or GED at a minimum. Preferred would be a College Education but not required, experience in planning, plan reading, knowledge of local zoning codes, good communication skills and the ability to use a computer efficiently. The pay scale will range from $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience.
